Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at Info@GoodBooksCo.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Virtual bookkeeping gives a bookkeeper or accountant the ability to remotely provide services for a client without having to be on location taking up more of the business' resources.

At Good Books Company, we utilize QuickBooks Online (QBO) by Intuit a secure cloud-based computing software to manage our client's books off-site.

  1. First, you will need to have a QBO account. This is something we can set up for you and provide you with a wholesale discount, see us for details.
  2. Then, the account will need to be set up. This includes the Chart of Accounts, industry, and bank feeds which automatically and securely uploads your bank statements to the software.
  3. Throughout the process, you will provide receipts, invoices, or bills directly to the QBO App / Software.
  4. You will have 24/7 access to your books and reports.

  1. One of the best reasons to hire Good Books Company is because you get the expertise that a Director of Finance with twenty plus years of experience has to offer without paying a six-figure salary.
  2. Good Books Company’s monthly contracted rate is typically lower than a part-time, entry-level, bookkeeper’s salary. This saves you from having to provide office space, equipment, insurance, and the headache of having to obtain, train, and retain an employee.
  3. Small businesses benefit greatly because they don’t need or cant expense a full-time bookkeeper. By hiring a remote/virtual bookkeeping company, they can focus on what they do BEST.
  4. Our monthly fees are predetermined so there are no surprises and you can cancel our service anytime with a thirty-day written notice.
  5. Good Books Company also offers other services saving you more time and money. See our “Services” tab.

  1. Your CPA or tax preparer advises you on tax matters and helps you file your taxes. If they need to organize your books during this tax-crunch time, it will be costly. We provide an alternative service that will organize and classify your books to provide up-to-date financial reporting either monthly or quarterly so the stress of tax time will be forgotten.
  2. Additionally, we also counsel our clients throughout the year to make better business decisions taking full advantage that we see their numbers month after month.
  3. Partnering with Good Books Company will make your CPA love you and will allow them to focus on the tax aspects of your business.

Good Books Company takes your privacy very seriously. We never disclose your information and treat it with the utmost care priding ourselves in our reputation. Additionally, we are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement if requested.
